Terms of service

The service
EcoPulseIQ provides software that helps hotels assess their sustainability performance, identify gaps against recognised frameworks, plan improvements, and organise supporting evidence. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
We are not a certification body
This is the most important clause on this page, so we have made it plain. EcoPulseIQ is not a certification body, is not accredited to certify anyone, and does not audit, certify, or accredit any property. We issue no certificate, badge, label or mark, and nothing we provide may be presented to guests or consumers as a certification or an environmental label.
This assessment is designed to help benchmark sustainability practices and prepare for recognised sustainability frameworks. It does not constitute certification.
Your readiness score is an internal management metric. Certification decisions are made solely by independent certification bodies operating under their own accredited schemes, and only they can award a certification.
What you are responsible for
- The accuracy of the answers you give and the documents you upload. Our output is only ever as good as the information behind it.
- Confirming every value our document processing suggests before it is recorded. We present extracted values for review precisely so a person decides.
- Keeping your account credentials secure, and managing who at your property has access.
- Ensuring you have the right to upload the documents you provide, and redacting anything commercially or personally sensitive that we do not need.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another organisation's data, probe or disrupt the service, upload malware, or resell access without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable. You can cancel at any time and your plan will run to the end of the period already paid for. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change affecting your renewal.
Your data, and getting it back
Your data remains yours. You can export your evidence and assessment history at any time, including after cancelling. We describe how we handle personal data in our privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
The platform supports your decisions; it does not replace professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular certification outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms, giving you a reasonable opportunity to put things right first where it is appropriate to do so, and an opportunity to export your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
