What it deliberately does not include
Starter assumes one person is doing the work. There is no way to bring colleagues into the account, hand an action to your maintenance lead, or be warned when a certificate is about to expire. Billing questions

VAT, switching and cancelling.

Do these prices include VAT?

No. Every price on this page is exclusive of VAT. UK VAT is calculated at checkout from the billing address you enter and shown before you pay, then itemised on the invoice. If you are VAT registered you reclaim it in the normal way.

What is the difference between paying monthly and paying annually?

Nothing except the cadence and the price. An annual subscription costs ten times the monthly one, so two months are free — Starter is £59 a month or £590 a year. Access and capabilities are identical either way — how often you pay changes nothing about what you can use.

Can I change plan later?

Yes, in either direction. Plan changes are handled in the Stripe billing portal, reachable from the Billing page in your dashboard, and Stripe applies the proration. Only the account owner can manage billing — colleagues you invite can use the product without being able to commit the business to a charge.

How do I cancel?

From the same billing portal, without contacting us. Cancelling ends the subscription at the end of the period you have already paid for rather than immediately, and your Billing page shows the exact date access ends. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

What happens if a card payment fails?

You keep your access while the card is retried, and the dashboard shows a banner asking you to update it. Most failed payments are an expired card rather than a decision to leave, and locking a hotel out of its own evidence and roadmap over one is the wrong response.

Do I need a card to run the free diagnostic?

No. The diagnostic runs before you have an account at all — no card, no subscription, no sales call. You see your score and your top gaps first, and decide about a plan afterwards.

Does a paid plan certify my hotel?

No, and we are careful about this. EcoPulseIQ assesses readiness; it does not award certification. Schemes such as Green Key, Green Tourism and GSTC certify through their own independent assessment, you pay their fees directly, and they remain independent of us. What a plan does is get your evidence measured, organised and formatted for that assessment.

Do you accept discount codes?

Yes — if you have been given a promotion code there is a field for it at checkout.
